  4. Benders roller are long bendable foam with a wire core. They may also be called a spiral roller. These rollers are very good for putting a lot of curl in long hair.
  5. Foam rollers give curl to fragile hair and are best used when your hair is dry; they're even soft enough to sleep on.
  6. Snap-on rollers and brush rollers hold hair securely, but they can damage your hair and are therefore not usually recommended.
  7. Plastic mesh rollers are best used on wet hair. They help hair dry quickly and create smooth curls.

Tips on Use of Hair Rollers

  1. Lots of small rollers will give more curl and more fullness.
  2. For spiral curls, twist your hair before rolling it up.
  3. Lots of large rollers will give more fullness.
  4. Remember that larger rollers make big, bouncy curls, while skinnier rollers make tighter, smaller curls.
  5. A few large rollers will give some fullness and shape.
  6. Excessive heat can damage your hair. Deep-condition regularly and use heat-protecting products to minimize the damage.
  7. Be careful when handling hot rollers; they can burn fingers.
