Cameo Braid
A braid also known as a plait is a complex pattern or structure of hairs or wires formed by intertwining three or more strands of flexible material such as textile fibers, wire, or human hair. Compared to the process of weaving a wide sheet of cloth from two separate, perpendicular groups of strands (warp and weft), a braid is usually long and narrow, with each component strand functionally equivalent in zigzagging forward through the overlapping mass of the others.

- Smooth the hair into a pony and fasten with a covered band, leaving small one section of the hair falling free.
- Place a bun ring over the ponytail.
- Take roughly one-third of the hair from the ponytail and wrap it around the bun ring, fastening it with pins. Repeat with the other two-thirds of hair.
- Now braid the section of the leftover hairs that was left out of the ponytail, right strand over centre strand, left over centre and so on, and wrap the braid around the base of the bun, then secure with pins.
